Nintendo of America and Universal Theme Parks have confirmed that the long-awaited Super Nintendo World expansion is opening at Universal Orlando’s upcoming Epic Universe in 2025. Initially announced last year, Orlando will also feature the Donkey Kong expansion announced by Nintendo and Universal Studios earlier this year. Still no confirmation on a Luigi’s Mansion ride, unfortunately. Donkey Kong Country hits Super Nintendo World Japan later this year. There will be two new Power Up band designs that feature Donkey Kong imagery as well along with the Mine Cart Madness ride, named after the iconic, and difficult, Mine Cart Carnage levels of Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo.
